Observation notes: There’s been an overwhelming number of caddisflies here, too. I’ve started wearing safety goggles to keep them away from my eyes. This morning was leagues more active than the last two, hopefully the same was true for you!

Coordinator notes: I think all the moths have moved further up nort :) There might be more moths in the early AM but I am beyond staying up that late (or getting up that early) -- too many other obligations. I'll stay out late a couple of nights later on in the summer. We watched the lights last night and there were a few moths around 11:00 pm or so, but nothing that made it worth while to go out for. There are other swarms of insects that probably will show up during the summer -- flying ants will occasionally cover everything just like the caddisflies do.
