Observation notes: I checked the same New Jersey Tea shrub where I'd found a similar caterpillar earlier. This time I managed to get 2 images of the same individual (dorsal & side views) which may help with identification.

Coordinator notes: I'm changing my mind about this again thanks to an astute reviewer. This seems more likely to be Celastrina neglecta.
