Coordinator notes: This is the Western Branded Skipper. The area where you took the picture is out of the range of Stinga morrisoni. The first picture that shows the underside is definitely greenish, not brown. The hindwing ground color on Morrison's skipper is chocolate brown without any green and you can see the more central basal spot on that wing has a "hook" revealing that it form a "C" shape. The distinct mark on Morrison's skipper is an entirely straight "dash." You can view and compare your photo with S. morrisoni on the BAMONA website. Hesperia juba is most easily identified because there are TWO distinct spots in the upper part of the macular band and look like they are stacked on each other (one on the other). The individual in your photo only has one on that portion of the band, often characteristic on the Western Branded Skipper except at very high altitude, sometimes there are two but they offset unlike H. juba.
