The family Glyphidoceridae is a group of small moths with only eight species represented in North America. They vary in color from from yellowish brown to dark brown with few, if any, markings. The group is defined by two characters: the forewing has CuA1 and CuA2 stalked and downcurved from the posterodistal angle of the medial cell, and R5 terminates on the outer margin.
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America freely available. We want to express our gratitude to all who showed their support by making a contribution this year. You can donate to support this project at any time.
