Identification: Forewing light brown with 3 costal spots, including 1 at apex. Reniform spot (if present) is shaped like a blackish comma.
Wing Span: 2.1-2.8 cm.
Life History:
Flight: May-August. 2 broods.

Range: Nova Scotia and Quebec to Florida, west to Wisconsin, Missouri, and Texas.
