Identification: Easily recognized by the pointed white forewing with gray shading; costal border and median band black. Hindwing gray with black triangle near anal angle.
Wing Span: 1.6-2 cm.
Life History:
Flight: April-August; at least two broods.

Range: Southern Connecticut and Ontario to Florida, west to Missouri and Texas.
