Identification: Easily recognized by the doubly toothed blackish band that separates grayish brown lower half of forewing from light to dark brown upper half. Note variable white edging along toothed band. Hindwing brown, darker toward margin.
Wing Span: 3-4 cm.
Life History:
Flight: April-September.
