Identification: Forewing white with several black streaks in upper half, and several black oblong spots in lower half; hindwing rosy pink to dark orange
Wing Span: 1.7-2.5 cm
Life History:
Flight: April to August
Caterpillar Hosts: Larvae have been reported on Saffron Plum (Sideroxylon celastrinum = Bumelia celastrina) in Florida
Adult Food:
Range: Illinois and Kentucky to Florida west to Kansas and Texas
Management Needs:
