Coordinator notes: Hickory and Banded Hairstreaks are very difficult to separate; in addition this one is worn. It should be looked at by another expert, but in my view it has 3 characters which make it a probable Hickory: the blue paatch at outer angle extends a bit beyond the adjacent orange patches; the FW band is white-edged on both sides, and it widens near the leading edge at the costa. The flight time is correct, and other Hickories have been reported from this area recently.
