Observation notes: Found this critter on my driveway beneath a maple tree. I first thought he was a tiger swallowtail but now I think he'll be a moth. Anyway, I'm going to try to raise him to maturity to show my grandchildren. I haven't captured a caterpillar, moth or butterfly since my summer camp days 50 years ago!
