Observation notes: dark orange on the dorsal side. very active during the warm part of the day near tall marsh grass.

Coordinator notes: It should be yuma in Solano County. I would reject the photo if taken in some other counties because other skippers in those places can look similar to yuma in a photo. Yuma of course is a large sized skipper, not obvious in your photo. Associated with Phragmites australis, a tall grass species-Ken Davenport
