Observation notes: Sunny, slightly windy and 70°F. Butterfly was alone and feeding on a red raspberry bush blossom. The dark triangular shading is not part of the wing coloring. It was a shadow cast by the raspberry plant's leaves. The butterfly (?) was sharing a blossoming red raspberry bush with Western Bumblebees and honeybees.
