Observation notes: This individual was photographed in a maritime forest adjacent to salt marsh on the mainland coast of Georgia. It was perched on its host plant, Ilex vomitoria. Other individuals have photograph at this location in 2009 and 2011. They were all beautiful spring days in April or early May.
