Observation notes: Moderately warm day, the butterfly seemed to be a weak flier and I almost thought it was a moth.

Coordinator notes: Pieris napi is the name NABA uses and was formerly placed with napi in the past by scientists, but recent work with DNA indicates North American populations are not the same as Old World Pieris napi. Some work suggests venosa may merit species status itself or be a Pieris virginiensis subspecies.
