Coordinator notes: This is Phoebis argante. While living in Desert Hot Springs during 2012 these butterflies would frequent my Red Mexican Bird of Paradise "Caesalpinia pulcherrima" bushes, seemed to be all they liked to frequent. It was very common to see them in Palm Springs throughout my stay into late 2014. Definitely had become a resident.
