Observation notes: Delaware skipper nectaring creek edge boneset.

Verified date: December 22, 2013
Coordinator notes: Based on whitish-brown fringe color, which is not orange as it should be on Delaware Skipper, I concur with the submitter on re-reviewing this sighting as Arogos skipper. This specimen also shows a strong orange shading along the leading edge of the forewing, a characteristic shown by the photo of Arogos Skipper in " A Swift Guide to Butterflies of North America" by Glassberg, 2012, p. 360.
