Observation notes: This larva is a resubmission of sighting #910171, which was rejected as a probable sawfly larva. I submitted the photos to BugGuide to see which kind, and they decided on Clostera inclusa - Angle-lined Prominent Moth caterpillar. My Wagner caterpillar field guide's species account and photo appear to match my larva, and the species occurs at this location, so I think it's a plausible match.
