Observation notes: This picture was taken in our front yard on a Blue Mist plant that attracts hundreds of butterflies per day while blooming in late November. Over the years a number of different butterflies have visited the plant, but this is the only time I have ever seen this particular butterfly. It was moving from one flower to the next spending time on each one.
