Observation notes: on nectar of alkali golden bush, very warm day mid to high nineties rain earlier in the summer. heavy in some spots severe flooding though very scattered, lots of mesquite in area honey and screw bean also cat claw. golden orange color on hind wings just along margin makes me think that this may be palmer's metal mark, only one i can find with these detail? slight breeze later in afternoon. vallecito stage stop co park
