Observation notes: We noticed an unusual moth on our window in the early afternoon. It was on the outside of the window all afternoon so we could see its underside through the glass when we looked out. We went outside and saw that from the top it was an unusual frosty blue-grey color. It almost seemed to glow. The wingspan was about 1-1/2 inches. The light shining through its wings was beautiful. It never moved all day, then flew away when night came.
