Observation notes: I believe this is a male Winter Moth (Operophtera brumata) that has newly emerged and its wings are not completely unfurled. It was observed running/fluttering around in leaf litter in a small woodland park. There were at least five similar moths flying about in the same general area. The day was sunny but cold with a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. I couldn't get clearer photos.
