Our 2023 fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. Your support is vital to the project. Please make a recurring or one-time donation to sustain this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: About 10 mm long (estimated by eye). Descended from an oak tree on a silk strand. The oak leaves had narrow, pointed lobes.
Added 12/3/2013: BugGuide found some twirler moths (Gelechiids) with similar larvae: http://bugguide.net/node/view/857777
