Observation notes: We found this caterpillar on our cement patio this evening. It is about 3 inches long. There are no trees or plants in the yard, just grass, clover, and dandelion weeds.

Coordinator notes: This is one of the green forms of H. lineata's variable-colored caterpillar. The suggested id of H. gallii is typically found farther north and the caterpillar has slightly different markings.
