Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America freely available. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Crawling through parking lot, mild day ~82 for high, starting to cool off when sighted

Coordinator notes: This is a caterpillar not often seen, there is only one photo on bugguide.net. I used that and the photo in Tuttle's "The Hawkmoths of North America" to id this as Lintneria separatus. Note the genus name is now Lintneria (previously Sphinx) and I will request BAMONA to change this on their site. Very interesting find! SAT
