Observation notes: This caterpiller was sited on some leaves climbing our playground fence, in Milton Vermont. The 2nd photo was taken 24 hours after the first in the same place. It hadn't moved. 9/26 was cool 60ish and cloudy. 9/27 was sunny and a bit warmer 68ish. Our Preschool children are very interested in knowing what kind of butterfly it will become.
