Observation notes: Habitat in the area where this skipper was found: longleaf pine flatwood savanna, slash pine – pond cypress woodlands and bayhead swamp. The area is very wet with plenty of pitcher plants. Bluestem grass appears to be present. The skippers were nectaring on liatris and Balduina uniflora (a plant found in wet pinelands).
