Coordinator notes: Coordinator 1: I have these larvae on my grapes, too. they don't resemble larvae of any butterfly I know. Most likely belong to a moth, but I have no expertise in moths. I did a quick search online and found this site http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2009/05/10/western-grape-leaf-skeletonizer-imago-and-caterpillars/ which looks like a good match to me. thanks for submitting! Coordinator 2: These match photos on bugguide and MPG of the Western Grapeleaf Skeletonizer perfectly. http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=4623 http://bugguide.net/node/view/153635
