Observation notes: The butterfly was landing and fluttering continuously on a trail in a woodland park which had marshy wetlands on both sides of the trail. It stayed within a small area for at least 2-3 hours and was joined by a second individual at one point. (The photos are of only one individual). The day was warm and sunny but there had been rain showers earlier in the morning.
