Coordinator notes: White marking on forewing makes me doubt this suggested ID; cannot be sure however.
Second reviewer (Mike Fisher): It is not the species suggested by the observer because that species does not have the distinctive silver marking spot on the center of the forewings. Both species are shown in the Powell-Opler book, "Moths of Western North America." Synagrapha ignea as I have verified is on Plate 50, Fig. 4.
