Sphinx kalmiae

Observation date: July 31, 2013

Observation notes: When touched, this large green caterpillar goes into convulsions for about a minute. It was found in my garden by the carrots (that also consists of tomatoes, beans, and peas) on a sunny day. It is chubby, green with yellow strips, and it has a stinger that is light blue with black poka-dots located on it's rear.
