Observation notes: Butterfly was in a netleaf hackberry tree. There is a type of milkweed nearby, but I don't know the species

Coordinator notes: This is a Queen, for sure. I'm calling it a temporary colonist because it likely gets frozen out in winter and must re-colonize the following year. That said, it does re-colonize in good numbers every year. Even saw one here in Santa Fe this summer. Rattlesnakes Springs is a great spot for butterflies. Thanks for sharing your photos.
