Observation notes: About 1 inch long, very brightly colored, almost shocking pink/red underwings and body--the body has black dots along the sides. Fairly drab brown upper wings with tiny black dots. Hairy head. A beautiful sight to see this one flying. The photo on the bottom is of this moth caught in a spider's web
