Observation notes: Observed on mud adjacent to Galena Creek along the Mount Rose Trail in Washoe County, Nevada. Hot day. Elevation approximately 8,800. In meadow area surrounded by coniferous forest.

Coordinator notes: This was difficult, since T. mexicana Nevada may also occur there. T. pylades tends to be much larger than T. mexicana. Both species are in that county.
