Observation notes: Observed inside a shed in the morning following an evening rainstorm, in a semi-arid location where rain outside of occasional afternoon thunderstorms is rare. The insect is very passive, was easily captured, and in a jar simply settles back into this flat position after a few seconds if disturbed.
