Coordinator notes: Orgyia detrita matches the sighting photo better. On O. detrita, the "spot" markings are aross the whole body and are orange; in O.leucostigma. these are fewer and are red. Bug Guide has a photo of an O. detrita larva that is near identical to the sighting photo.
