Observation date: May 05, 2013
Submitted by: Glenn Marangelo
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The photo was taken by a friend (Bobbe Almer) who gave me permission to submit for identification. I used your website and all of my ID books and have not been able to find anything. Granted, the picture is not high quality, but seems good enough to get a positive ID.
Status: Unknown
Verified by: Robert Martin
Verified date: May 19, 2013
Coordinator notes: The photo is barely good enough to make an identification. However, Heliothis proruptus has distinctive markings. It is a day-flying moth. Most documentations have been in Washington, Oregon and California.
