Observation notes: It was feeding on a seaside daisy blossom (Erigeron glaucus) in Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.

Coordinator notes: This appears to be C. dumetorum. C viridis shows some whitish spotting on underside of lower wings. There is indications in publications that both of these species intergrades just north of location of sighting, Marina Beach Dunes.
