Observation notes: This butterfly (or moth) measures 13/16 across wing span as photographed. Observed inside our screen porch on the screen. It has been there for hours. Weather is cloudy, 57 degrees. Previous days have been in 70's and sunny. Weather changed over night. Time taken 10:23 Am. When I disturbed it to try and get it to a better photo location, it flew a few feet and again landed in a different location taking the same position as it had been in before. It did not try and move until I actually touched it. The porch is located 10 feet from a pond / detention basin containing many fish and attracting many birds.
