Observation notes: I was working in the butterfly garden when I noticed that one of the orange butterflies was not a Guld Fritillary. After a closer inspection, it was identified as a Queen. I only had my cellphone camera, so the pictures are not the best, but clearly identifiable as a queen. The other four records for Caddo Parish have been in recorded in November.
