Observation notes: The moth was sitting on the sidewalk outside of my house. My son noticed it and pointed out to me how unusual it was. Showed the pic to my husband when he got home. Neither my husband or I have ever seen a moth like this. It was gorgeous! A friend of mine looked it up and that is how we found this website.
