Observation notes: There were three butterflies going from flower to flower but flying quickly...I could only capture one : )

Coordinator notes: Very similar to the eastern tiger swallowtail. Older references do not even include the Candadian tiger swallowtail, as they were once all thought to be the eastern tiger swallowtail. Research has shown these to be a distinct species, and it is the only tiger swallowtail in most of northern Michigan.
