Observation notes: So tiny! Tried to research species but couldn't find a matching photo to ID. Note the reflective colors in the fringe. Only saw topsides of wings while butterfly was in flight--they were blue. Butterfly favors California Buckwheat.

Coordinator notes: Thanks for sharing the plant association, I suspected E. bernardino...but without the name of the plant...there are lots of lookalike species and key field marks are not visible in the photograph.
