Observation notes: Solitary female nectaring on Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) in a restored meadow at Lake Wapello SP. Weather = relatively cool (76 °F), humid, and calm under partly cloudy skies around 6:25 p.m.; moderate rainfall had occurred earlier in the afternoon.
