Observation notes: A worn male basking in dappled late-afternoon sunlight at Fox Forest WA. Conditions = quite warm (94 °F) and dry with clear skies and very little wind. (Due to wooded habitat and hilly terrain, this spot was largely sheltered from heavier winds.)
