Observation notes: Butterfly was on the ground. The day was sunny and in the 70's with no wind. The area consists of heavily wooded pine and aspen forest with some open meadows. The elevation is 8500 ft.

Coordinator notes: Female. Mix zone altitude, Lycaena florus occurs higher and this is probably a location where the two species intergrade.
