Observation notes: This butterfly was seen at a Flame Acanthus at Riverside Nature Center in Kerrville (Kerr County), Texas. It was photographed numberous times. It was larger than Lyside Sulphur. The wings progress from fairly bright yellow at the base to pale / whitish at the outer areas. The second photo shows some of the dorsal white in the wings fringe. Other photos can be made available. These and other photos were circulated amoung San Antonio Lepidopterist.
