Observation notes: Cool, overcast and slightly windy at about 6:45pm May 27th. I noticed something "flapping" in a tree from my bedroom window. None of the other leaves were moving is what led me to investigate. This moth was kind of dangling/clinging to the tip of a leaf. Looked like it was barely hanging on. Several inches above this moth, was another moth. This one was securely clinging to a small branch of the tree and not moving. The moth pictured was the dangling one. Fearful of it being blown from the leaf, I gently let it "blow" into my hand. Once in my hand it did not move, and hasnt still. Thought it might be cold?..its a bit chilly with the breeze. It was around 60 degrees. Thank you for your time.
