Observation notes: I have lived in Southern Alberta, Canada all my life and have never seen a butterfly like this here in my hometown of Medicine Hat. Not sure of the weather conditions, but the butterfly didn't move much, but did seem to "vibrate" it's wings at times. It stayed on my lawn for 2-3 days and then was gone. Beautiful creature.
