Observation notes: Sunny breezy afternoon on a trail in Laguna Canyon, about 200 feet up. Butterfly flitted a bunch. I wasn't sure I'd get a picture. And when he stopped he was hard to focus on.

Coordinator notes: NABA would call this Callophrys dumetorum which scientists regard as another species. Only perplexa is in Orange County, CA.
