Posted on Bug guide.net http://bugguide.net/node/view/465784 I live on a wooded hillside with a man made pond and a small wet area in the back created from run off from the woods. The closest I come to a marsh is a large wet pasture with a creek running through it which starts about .5 miles from my home. There are several species of fern on my property and in the pature area. Thelypteris palustris pubescens is shown on the USDA plant site to be located throughout the state.
